| Last Updated ( 08.26 Saturday, 04 July 2009 ) | A bit of a break in the trade winds for a day or two over the weekend
means humidity is up a little, and while weather will stay mainly fine
today there could be the odd shower or two around the north and east of
the country, mainly about the larger
islands during the afternoon. Satellite image shows no significant weather features near Fiji today. Light winds and afternoon seabreezes will
keep
temperatures a degree or two warmer today than they have been recently.
The radar is clear of any rain echoes this morning, and no significant rain is expected today. Suva and nearby towns can
expect a partly cloudy day with long sunny breaks developing this
morning. There
is the chance of a few fog patches around the Rewa and Navua river
deltas, but they will clear away soon after sunrise. Leave your brolly
home if you are heading off to the market this morning.
A fine, mild and sunny day in store once again for Nadi
Lautoka and Ba, with light southeast winds and afternoon seabreezes.
Clear and cool again overnight as winds ease.
More of the same for tomorrow, it will stay dry enough to get your
washing done but once again a shower or two is possible later in the
afternoon, mainly inland over the larger islands.
